2026 ICPC Latin America Championship
The International Collegiate Programming Contest is the oldest, largest and most prestigious programming contest for university students. In teams of three, students represent their institutions, practicing their algorithmic skills, teamwork, creativity and the ability to perform under pressure.
Since the first championship in 1977, the ICPC has evolved into a global competition, with universities around the world hosting regional rounds that qualify teams for the World Finals. For this purpose, the Latin America Championship brings together the best Latin American teams.
The first edition of the ICPC Latin America Championship took place in March 2024 in Guadalajara, Mexico, hosted by ITESO – Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara. The second edition was held in March 2025 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, hosted by Universidade Federal da Bahia.
From March 4 to 8, 2026, the third edition will take place in Santiago, Chile, hosted by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, in collaboration with the Chilean Computer Science Society and with the support of the Regional Government of Santiago.
